Join StudentsFirst and its co-sponsors Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, African American Leadership Forum (AALF) and MinnCAN for a free special community showing of the new documentary 'We the Parents.'

'We the Parents' highlights the power of parents and community members in advocating for students, and their unwillingness to give up the fight for better schools for their children despite the adversity and barriers they must overcome. Click here to watch a trailer of the movie.

Free pizza and pop will be available at 5:30 p.m. (first come, first serve), followed by the movie at 6 p.m., and a panel discussion on the power communities have to change their schools and ensure all children, regardless of their zip code, can attend a great public school.
