On June 27 and 28, Joe Nathan from Center for School Change and Dr. Karen Seashore from the University of Minnesota are teaching a two-day summer class focused on school choice.
The class will cover different kinds of school choice: alternative schools, charters, magnets, Post Secondary Enrollment Options and more. It will also focus on facts and misconceptions surrounding school choice, and offer various viewpoints. Megan Olivia Hall, the 2013 Minnesota Teacher of the Year, and Bill Wilson, founder of Higher Ground Academy and former Minnesota Commissioner of Human Rights, will both share their thoughts.
