My name is Holly, and I’m a parent, a 14-year veteran public school teacher and a MinnCAN fellow.

About a year ago, I got tired of outdated policies and practices harming my students and colleagues, so I became a MinnCAN blogging fellow to share my ideas to improve public education in Minnesota, 600 words at a time.
Through blogging, I learned that policymakers and administrators actually want to hear from educators like me. That’s why I’m now a teacher policy fellow with MinnCAN, and why MinnCAN just announced a new cohort of four blogging fellows.
