Great news! HF63, a bill to get talented teachers into the classroom faster by opening new paths to teacher certification, passed the House yesterday. A version of this bill passed the Senate last week.
In the State of the State he gave on Wednesday, Governor Dayton said that investing in a better future for Minnesota “begins with education.” We couldn’t agree more. That’s why we need to change our law so that talented teachers aren’t shut out of the classroom. We cannot invest in education without investing in talented and effective educators.
