Nicholas Banovetz is a past member of the 50CAN team.

We’ve wrapped up a successful inaugural year of School Reform Blogging Fellows (special thanks to teacher Christina Salter and student Ben Davis), and we’re ready for our next cohort of savvy, creative writers.

Are you eager to bring your passion for strengthening Minnesota public education to MinnCAN’s blog?

We thought so! Download the short application here!

Our fellowship is a platform for teachers, principals, students and parents to share their stories about how policies, hurdles and best practices play out in their classrooms and communities.

Like last year, we’ll select two fellows to report back from the front lines and provide a personal, first-hand account of education policy as it impacts the classroom and life. Each blogger will contribute 10 posts to our blog; in return, we’ll provide a $1,500 stipend and prime placement on www.minncan.org.

Applications are due September 9 and we’ll announce winners within a week or so. (Please email your application to nicholas.banovetz@minncan.org.)

Apply today and best of luck!
